To me, this seems to confirm it is not a hardware issue and that there is some setting within the code causing this very annoying problem. One key thing to point out that I discovered: If I go to Settings and "Add a Bluetooth or other device" and leave the window up to continuously search for Bluetooth devices the issue completely goes away. I also tried pairing the mouse with other demo models in the store and they did not have the issue (again, I have pretty conclusively ruled out the mouse itself being the issue).I even went back to the store and paired my Bluetooth mouse with the same laptop demo model and it had the same exact issue, so it seems there is something wrong with this model that needs to be fixed.Running Windows Bluetooth Troubleshooter via settings Wiping the drive and reinstalling WindowsĪ wireless mouse using an old USB dongle works fine, but I only have one USB port that I would like to use for other things. Trying a different Bluetooth mouse (new Logitech mouse), but had the same exact issuesĭeleting/reinstalling the Bluetooth mouse drivers
#MICROSOFT WIRELESS MOUSE 3500 STUTTER UPDATE#
I have pretty much ruled out the mouse and am considering returning the machine, even though I really like it otherwise.ĭisabling "Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them" (some articles/videos suggested trying this, but seemed to be for an older Windows update issue) The mouse constantly lags, stutters, and sometimes shoots across the screen, especially if I don't move it for just a few seconds. I recently purchased a Lenovo Yoga 7i 14" laptop and even more recently purchased a Bluetooth Microsoft Modern Mouse to go along with it.
